Workout Wednesday: Inspired!

So this morning I ran through my normal blog-checking routine, and I found a post written by my friend Trina Bizabeth. I was reminded why I am trying so hard to incorporate exercise into my daily routine, and it is not to be skinny. I am already naturally thin, but I surely do not need anyone telling me how big or small I should be. Being healthy is so important for a long and quality life, no matter what your build is. Don't try to be someone you are not, but instead respect your body and its needs. Here are some interesting benefits of exercising if you are still on the fence.

Last week's goals/progress:

3-two miles walks/I only went on two walks
2-one mile jogs (and walking to warm up and cool down)/Didn't happen :(
Half an hour of yoga stretches every night before bed/Didn't happen (I was so exhausted by the end of
                                                                                             the day that I completely forgot my goal)
3 sets of 15 sit-ups every morning/Mission Accomplished
3 sets of 10 push-ups every morning/Mission Accomplished
3 sets of 15 lunges (per leg) every morning/Mission Accomplished
3 sets of 10 squats every morning/Mission Accomplished

This week's goals:

From last week, I have learned that anything after morning exercise is just simply not going to be accomplished. I am too tired by the end of the day to do anything more than what is absolutely required of me, so I have reflected that in this week's goals.

Thursday: Run through the morning routine with sit-ups, push-ups, lunges, and squats. Complete 15 minutes of yoga stretches which concentrate on my back.

Friday: Run through the morning routine. Go on a mile jog around my neighborhood.

Saturday: Run through the morning routine. Take a two mile walk around the neightborhood.

Sunday: 30 minutes of yoga.

Monday: Run through the morning routine. Take a two mile walk around the neighborhood.

Tuesday: Run through the morning routine. Complete 15 minutes of yoga.

Wednesday: Run through the morning routine. Go on a mile jog around my neighborhood.
