Sunday Six: Gifts Under $10

By: Michelle

Everyone I know stresses during the holidays! How am I going to stretch Christmas for my family? My friend is going to get me a gift, so I need to give him/her one also! I had a plan to save all year, but something came up! Well if any of these sound familiar, welcome to the club!!! Here are some ideas to get you through the holidays, and I will give you all more ideas for saving for next year a little later! Let's jump right in, shall we?

1.Coffee Mug with some Gourmet Coffee- Try outlet stores like Ross, or TJ Max. You can get an amazing deal on brand name products that are sold at stores like Anthropologie, for less than half the price, and they sell some awesome coffee as well!

2. Homemade Cocoa Mix in a Cute Jar- These are so much fun, and who doesn't love some hot cocoa in the cold winter months? You can even splurge for all organic ingredients and not go over budget! Check out this blog for more information!

3. A Bottle of Wine- You can get some amazing deals on wine when you buy in bulk at many stores! Make sure you check your local grocers, but many will all but half your purchase price if you buy several bottles at a time!

4. Movie Tickets- You can prepay for movie tickets either at the movie theater, or if you have a Costco in your area, they normally sell discount tickets. I believe we paid $16 for two tickets! You can't go wrong if you put these in a card for a couple!

5. Christmas Ornament- You can either buy or make your own, and the best part, people will pull it out every year and remember you!

6. A Customized Gift Basket- Next time you find yourself near a dollar store, pop in and pick out a few items that remind you of your gift-ee! Maybe you know someone who really likes to cook? Fill up the basket (you can get small baskets there too) with kitchen necessities, and then tie it up with a nice bow! They will never know that you spent less than $10!

Hope that helps!
