Embarrassment is probably the best word to describe our progress this past week! I promised myself, when I decided to start this segment, that I would be completely honest with you all, because I know that it is the only way I will advance in my health goals. The problem with last week, however, was that I didn't set any goals to begin with! As Zig Ziglar once said: "If you aim at nothing, you will hit it every time," and that is exactly what I did! In light of this, I am going to change the format of this segment by breaking it into two parts: Last week's progress, and this week's goals. Let's get right to it!
Last week's progress:
3-two mile walks (mostly just to clear my head)
A smorgasbord of yoga stretches
(Overall, a pretty embarrassing week)
Next week's goals:
3-two miles walks
2-one mile jogs (and walking to warm up and cool down)
Half an hour of yoga stretches every night before bed
3 sets of 15 situps every morning
3 sets of 10 pushups every morning
3 sets of 15 lunges (per leg) every morning
3 sets of 10 squats every morning
AND do some research as to what exercises are good for my target areas: stomach, thighs, butt, and arms.
Oh, and of course, look like this while I am doing it all:

Anyone care to do this with me?
