I hear, and have been guilty of, continuous complaining. I
feel like once you start complaining, it is not only contagious for other
people around you, but it also changes you mood and makes you more likely to be
aware of more things to complain about. I am not saying that you should just be
happy, no matter how bad your situation is, I am simply saying that it is
important to change out your dark shades for some rose-colored glasses when you
feel yourself becoming increasingly negative. Last week on TGIF, I explained
the importance of finding things to be grateful for, and it is a good technique
to bring you out of a slump as well. So next time you find yourself
complaining, take a moment and really relish in gratitude for a moment. You
will be surprised how good you feel after you put on those pink shades!
